We have been here before
Year after year, over and over
Perhaps it was my pride
That things will work out
But any way I walk, any turn I take
We’ll only fall apart.
And no one’s ever right
Neither you nor me
The sea and the sky never meet.
I know I’ve been foolish each time
You wanted to step out
And I held you back.
It’s time to return nowhere.
I know it’s late, it’s all on me
And nothing can make up to it.
I’ll carry the cross the same way
I’ve been carrying hope all the time.

The chaos that kept me awake of stress
I realised were mere burdens of existence
And I shed them all tonight
There’s bliss, there’s peace and I feel rain-light.

Without your love, would I be real?
Would I be whole, could I feel?
Stormy nights, all darkness and rage
Only left to erase in confusion and daze.

I can be the one to fall for them another 1000 lives
But I still don’t understand the magic in your touch
Or the untold unheard epic in your sad eyes…
Perhaps the reason I keep trying again and again
And even in death our love goes on.
